About Jan

Hello There!


My name is Jan Crowley and I am a self-taught digital designer. I have been

drawing, crafting, creating, and imagining for as long as I can remember, but

things really started to “click” when I found digital scrapbooking. Whether it's

traditional with glue and ink or digital with a mouse and screen, scrapbooking

has been a passion of mine for a long time. Being free to create my own "tools",

like paper and embellishments, is the best part about it for me.


Although I use Adobe Photoshop CS and Illustrator CS to create most of my

designs, many of them first start out with pen to paper. I love to mix the odd

with the familiar and to put new twists on old favorites. I believe I’ve found my

calling in the world of design and I am continually motivated and supported by

the community of designers I have had the pleasure of becoming acquainted

with.


I currently sell my designs at Oscraps.com under the name Queen of Quirk.

also President and Co-founder of Songbird Avenue, Inc., a digital scrapbooking

charity. Every month we raise funds to donate to charities all over the United

States. I am extremely proud of this venture and have my amazing customers to

thank for all of our success.
